Our Best Apple iPhone Tripods For Beginners Reviewed By Photos By Meta
The main purpose of an iPhone Tripod is to keep your Apple iPhone Perfectly Still for Slow Shutter Photography. This is critical for Astrophotography, Long Exposures and Timelapse Videos.Meta often says, “There are two types of Tripods; The ones that are easy to carry, and the ones that work.” Many iPhone Tripods are too lightweight and can easily topple over, especially mounted with the heavier Apple iPhone 14 Pro Models. Don’t go cheap on your iPhone Tripod! We use and recommend the Manfrotto Befree Tripod (Photo: Left). It is Lightweight (1.560kg), but it can support 6.4kg or a Full Size DSLR Camera. The Center Column can be reversed for Macro Photography. We also use the optional Manfrotto Short Center Column. We attach a Ulanzi Smartphone Clamp (Below) which has wide flat edges which hold the iPhone 12 and 13 more securely in a Moment iPhone Case. We attach an iOS Remote Control to the Tripod. How To Use Apple iPhone Tripods and Ball Heads
• Timelapses – Requires the Apple iPhone to be Perfectly Still over a long period of time, sometimes hours.• Astrophotography – Requires the Apple iPhone to be Perfectly Still for up to 30 seconds. • Landscape Photography – Requires the Apple iPhone to be Perfectly Level with the Horizon. • Macro Photography – Reverse the Center Column or install the optional Manfrotto Short Center Column to shoot Macros near the surface. Perfect for Macros of bugs, mushrooms and small flowers. Purchase Meta’s Nature Photography
